Dyslexia Supplemental Services

The Dyslexia Diagnostician implements the Dyslexia evaluation process as outlined by the Dyslexia Handbook. Her responsibilities are to assess the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students as they relate to Multi-Tiered System of Supports  (MTSS) or 504 eligibility, identify dyslexic students by administering and interpreting diagnostic tests, apply knowledge of federal, state, and district “Procedures Concerning Dyslexia” and provide diagnostic information and work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate programs for students with dyslexia and related disorders.
