Los Fresnos CISD is currently in the construction phase of the new Agriculture Barn and Career and Technical Education Center.  The complex will repurpose the former Los Cuates Middle School campus and surrounding land on Highway 100.

The Career and Technical Education Trade Shops will allow Los Fresnos High School students to expand their real-world career training opportunities. The Los Cuates Middle School classrooms will be renovated to accommodate the needs of each program of study and will be utilized by juniors and seniors in upper-level coursework.  Right now, Los Fresnos CISD has 20 pathways for students to choose from that include Health Science, Engineering, Welding, Culinary, and Law Enforcement.  The students may earn Industry Based Certifications and college credit hours that will transfer to the college or university of their choosing.
