Migrant Education Program

The Migrant Education Program (MEP) provides supplemental resources aimed at helping migrant students achieve academic success, as outlined in Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

The Migrant Education Program ensures that migrant children are not penalized in any manner by disparities in curriculum, graduation requirements or state academic content and student academic achievement standards.

Program Goal:

The goal of the Migrant Education Program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma (or complete a GED) that prepares them for responsible citizenship, further learning, and productive employment.
