District History
In 1915, the first school opened in Los Fresnos, Texas, coinciding with the founding of the community by Lon C. "Mose" Hill and Clyde Tandy. The single-building school operated under the supervision of the Mayor of Los Fresnos.
During the 2015-16 school year, the Los Fresnos Consolidated Independent School District celebrated its 100th anniversary.
