Dear Los Fresnos CISD Community,

 

Welcome back to the 2026–2027 school year!

 

There is nothing quite like the energy of the first week of school. Our hallways are once again filled with students, our classrooms are coming to life, and our teachers and staff are ready for another year of helping our students learn and grow. I hope you and your families had a wonderful and restful summer and are ready for a great year ahead.

 

We are beginning this school year with something special to celebrate: Los Fresnos CISD has earned an “A” rating from the Texas Education Agency.

 

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families. It also reflects the strong foundation built over many years by the educators, leaders, parents, and community members who have dedicated themselves to making Los Fresnos CISD a great school district.

 

An “A” rating is certainly something to celebrate, but it also reminds us that we must continue to work hard and hold ourselves to a high standard. This year, we will build on our successes, strengthen the traditions that make Los Fresnos special, and continue looking for ways to provide the best possible educational experience for every student.

 

Los Fresnos CISD has always shared a strong connection with the community it serves. Education has long been a priority for our families and community, and that shared commitment is an important part of what makes Los Fresnos CISD such a special place.

 

To our students, welcome back! We are excited to have you with us and look forward to all that you will accomplish this year.

 

To our teachers and staff, thank you for the work you do every day and for the difference you make in the lives of our students.

 

To our parents and community, thank you for your continued trust, support, and partnership. Our schools are stronger because of you.

 

As I begin serving as your Superintendent, I am honored to serve this community. I look forward to working together to build on our tradition of excellence and make this another great year for Los Fresnos CISD.
