2025 Los Fresnos CISD Robotics Competition

The Los Fresnos CISD hosted the 2025 District Robotics on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Los Fresnos High School campus.  The competition revolves around innovation and team-work while navigating through a high-tech STEM challenge.  The elementary challenge was “VEX GO Mars Math Expedition”, while our secondary students took on the “VEX IQ Mix & Match” challenge.

A total of forty-three teams competed including 29 elementary, 12 middle school, and 2 high school.

The annual competition, hosted by the Los Fresnos CISD Technology Department, was organized by District Robotics Coordinator Angela Dunkin.

“We deeply appreciate the countless hours of hard work invested by our Los Fresnos CISD Robotics Club students,” said Dunkin.  “We also extend our sincere gratitude to our exceptional parents and staff; whose unwavering support makes this event possible. We are incredibly proud to showcase the talent and dedication of our students.”
