38 LFHS students named AP Scholars

Twenty-one Los Fresnos High School seniors have been recognized as AP Scholars by the College Board. Seventeen other students who were graduates of the Class of 2020 were also named AP Scholars.

One senior – senior Mia Rodriguez – was named a National AP Scholar. Rodriguez and classmates Rebeca Osuna and Emmanuel Sanchez were named AP Scholars with Distinction, which means that each scored a 3 or higher on five exams. Rodriguez and Sanchez were also named AP Scholars in 2019.

Four seniors – Aliya Brown, Tiare Delgado, Patricia Dominguez, Kiara Garcia, and Daniela Martinez Banda – were named AP Scholar with Honor, which means that each scored a 3 or higher on four exams.

Thirteen seniors were named AP Scholar, which means that they scored a 3 or higher on three exams.
