LEADERSHIP LOS FRESNOS CISD

At Los Fresnos CISD, growth is happening daily – in our classrooms, in our district, and in our community.

We recognize that our educators are pivotal in shaping student success in the classroom, with assistance from principals and campus and district support staff. Our collective vision and commitment to achieving positive student outcomes drive our collaborative work.

We believe everyone is a leader.  Over the past several years, our team has worked to develop support mechanisms and a role-specific leadership pipeline that will empower all staff members to make meaningful contributions to our educational mission and grow their own potential.

PROFILE OF A LEADER

DEFINED BY STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Los Fresnos CISD believes that inclusive leadership starts with listening and valuing the perspectives of all stakeholders.

During the development phase of our 'Profile of a Leader' initiative, we welcomed stakeholder engagement as an integral part of the process. We recognized the importance of understanding what characteristics and qualities are most important to our community in effective leadership. Through focus groups, surveys, and collaborative discussions, we solicited input from educators, students, parents, administrators, and community members.  The resulting framework, the “Profile of a Leader”, provides a clear vision for how Leadership in Los Fresnos is defined.
