Summary information about outstanding debt such as current debt obligations, descriptions, dates issued, total amounts and maturity dates. Debt obligation means an issued public security as defined by Section 1201.002 Government Code, secured by property taxes.

Los Fresnos CISD has entered into 3 Chapter 313 taxable value limitation agreements; Cameron Wind I, San Roman Wind I, and Palmas Wind. The Texas Legislature created this program to spur economic development in Texas. More information is available at the Texas Comptroller's website,

Local Government Debt Reporting
In compliance with the Texas 84th Legislature’s HB 1378 (codified under Texas Local Government Code § 140.008) in order to increase local government debt transparency across the state, the district has filed its report with the Comptroller’s Office. Bond Election Pledge
The Superintendent has signed a pledge to post, on the Los Fresnos CISD website, information about any future proposed bond package(s) and existing debt and provide the Comptroller’s office with a link to this information no later than one business day after the public notice of the bond election.
