Los Fresnos CISD staff is ready to welcome our students back to campus for the 2025-2026 school year on Monday, August 11th.
The district and campuses are ready to help you get prepared for the upcoming school year! Here are some important dates to know about:
Elementary School:
- Elementary School Meet the Teacher Round-Up: All elementary campuses will host Meet the Teacher Round-Ups on Friday, August 8th. The campuses will be open to parents and students from 2-4 p.m. Contact your campus for more information.
Middle School:
- Middle School Meet the Teacher Night: All students and their parents are invited to meet their teacher, pick up their schedules, and walk through campus on Thursday, August 7th at the following times:
- 6th Grade: 3-4 pm
- 7th Grade: 4-5 pm
- 8th Grade: 5-6 pm
High School:
- Los Fresnos United Freshman Camp and Sophomore Schedule Pick-Up: All freshmen and sophomores are strongly encouraged to attend orientation and schedule pick-up. The following are the dates and times for each:
- Freshman Camp – Wednesday, July 30th
- A-F: 8:30-10:00 a.m.
- G-L: 10:30-12:00 p.m.
- M-S: 1:00-2:30 p.m.
- T-Z: 3:00-4:30 p.m.
- Sophomore Schedule Pick-Up – Friday, August 1st
- A-L: 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- M-Z: 12:30-3:30 p.m.
- Los Fresnos High School Junior Orientation and Schedule Pick-Up:
- A-L: 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
- M-Z: 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Los Fresnos High School Senior Schedule Pick-Up:
- Wednesday, August 6th
- Back to School Nights: Campuses will host Back to School nights the first week of September. Students and families are welcome to attend on the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, September 2nd: All Middle Schools, 6-7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 3rd:
Los Fresnos United: 5:30-7:00 p.m.; Los Fresnos High School, 6-7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, September 4th: All Elementary Schools, 6-7:30 p.m.
