Los Fresnos CISD Staff Recognized for Postgraduate Accomplishments at Board Meeting

The Los Fresnos Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees held their monthly regular board meeting on Monday, October 3, 2022. At the meeting, district educators and staff who recently completed postgraduate studies and subsequently received Masters and Doctorate degrees were honored.  Congratulations to our staff members for this accomplishment and for exemplifying what is means to be a “life-long learner”.

Los Fresnos CISD Superintendent Dr. Gonzalo Salazar was also honored by the Board of Trustees for serving as the president of the Texas Association of School Administrators for the 2022-2023 school year.  Dr. Salazar, who assumed the role in June, presided over the TASA/TASB convention in September where Los Fresnos CISD students performed live.  The board presented Dr. Salazar with a commemorative frame during the meeting.
