Three Los Fresnos students from various elementary campuses were chosen as the winners of a Los Fresnos News art contest. The Easter-themed coloring competition featured at the end of a March edition of the Los Fresnos News and coincided with “Crayon Day” celebrations in campus libraries. The following winners will receive baskets for their colorful creations!
- Ages 4-5: Regina Pesina, Los Fresnos Elementary (LFE)
- Ages 6-7: Cruz Guerra, Palmer-Laakso Elementary (PLE)
- Ages 8-9: Lia Rodriguez, Villarreal Elementary (VES)
The following child was chosen as part of a District-wide competition for the 10-11 year-old category:
- Ages 10-11: Braiden Luna, Lopez-Riggins Elementary (LRE)
