The Los Fresnos Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting on April 11, 2022. At the meeting, various groups from Los Fresnos High School were recognized for their academic and athletic achievements for the 2021-2022 school year by the Board and District Administration.
Student Recognitions:
- UIL Academic Team – District Champions; Multiple team and individual awards
- Girls Powerlifting Team – Seven-time THSWPA State Champions
- individual: Tyler Martin – 105 weight class; Hailey Martin – 114 weight class; Miranda Escamilla – 123 weight class
- Boys Powerlifting Team – Regional Champions; Seventh Place - State
- Individual: Anthony Alvear – State Champion – 220 weight class
- Girls Soccer Team – 2022 Bi-District Champions
- Boys Soccer Team – Play-off qualifiers
- Boys and Girls Tennis Team – Third Place -District
