The Los Fresnos Consolidated Independent School District continues monitor the extreme cold forecasted for the area.

Tuesday, January 21:

 

The District will suspend all district operations for all students and staff. 

 

Wednesday, January 22:

 

The District will delay the start of school on Wednesday, January 22 as follows.

 

Schools:	Start Time:	Bus Times:
Elementary Schools:	9:50 a.m.	Delayed 2 hours
Middle Schools:	10:20 a.m.	Delayed 2 hours
High Schools:	10:30 a.m.	Delayed 2 hours

 

TRANSPORTATION:

• Los Fresnos CISD will delay bus routes by two hours.
• Parents may utilize the Stopfinder App to track their child’s bus in real time.

 

*With the exception of campus administrators, Los Fresnos CISD PD and maintenance personnel, all campus employees will report two hours later than their regularly scheduled arrival time.  The Child Nutrition Department will make necessary arrangements with their personnel.

 

**Parents may bring their children to school during regular hours of operation if needed.

 

***All high school students (Los Fresnos High School and Los Fresnos United) should report directly to their second period class on Wednesday, January 22^nd.

 

DRESS CODE

 

Los Fresnos CISD students will be allowed to wear the following items not within dress code to stay warm:

• Hoodies
• Pullovers
• Sweatpants

The District is set to resume normal hours of operation on Thursday, January 23.

 

*A make-up day will be scheduled at a date to be determined.
