Los Fresnos CISD is proud to celebrate Career and Technical Education Month during the month of February.
Career and technical education, or CTE, directly prepares students for high-wage, high-skill and high-demand careers. It equips them with academic, technical and employability skills necessary for true career readiness.
CTE provides students with hands-on career exploration opportunities earlier in their educational experience, which enables them to make informed and beneficial decisions about their academic coursework and pursue established programs of study and career pathways.
Los Fresnos CISD offers diverse CTE pathways that include:

· 34 Industry Based Certifications
· 12 Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO)
