Middle School Golf Teams Take District Titles, Individual Awards

The LFCISD Middle School Golf teams have ended their seasons with big wins at the District tournament.

Students from Liberty Memorial, Los Cuates and Resaca Middle Schools competed at the Treasure Hills Golf Course on April 25th (Girls) and May 2nd (Boys).

Girls Results:

Paola Solis led the Los Cuates Girls’ team to the district title, taking the first place slot with a score of 55. Also competing for the Cougars was Brittany Rivera, Annali Valdes, Olga Vega and Paulette de la Fuente.

The Resaca Middle School Girls team placed third at the district tournament. The Gators team was comprised of Nayeli Barrera, Maddison Woodward, Emy Fernandez, Emma Galvan and Annalise Molina.

Bella Rivera competed as an individual for Liberty Memorial.

Boys Results:

The Resaca Middle School Boys team teed up a district win, with Jay Sebastian Gomez winning first place with a score of 43, and his teammate Levi Bennett taking second with a 44. Pablo Gonzalez finished 5th with Dalton Hayes rounding out the team.

Los Cuates Middle School player Christopher Waldorf finished in 4th place with a score of 52. Nolan Naranjo and Matthew Gomez also competed for the Cougars.

Nicholas Ruiz and Rolando Donez represented Liberty Memorial in the tournament.
