Foreign Exchange Students Ending Year at LFHS

Artem Serhiyovych Melynchenko from Skadovs'k, Ukraine has been at LFHS since the start of the school year. The 17-year-old played the trombone in the Marching Band, was a member of DECA, and played soccer with the Falcons.

Alice Miriam Brown came to LFHS in January from Invercargill, New Zealand. The 17-year-old junior was manager of the girls' track team and participated in the LFHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Jana Weisser from Karlsruhe, Germany has also been a student at LFHS since January. The 16-year-old junior was a member of the FCA, NJROTC and Falcon powerlifting team.

Tuesday was Artem's last day at LFHS, because he had to return to his school in time to take final exams and graduate. Alice and Jana will stay at LFHS until the last day of class June 3.
